New York Archives Magazine
We have designed this quarterly
magazine since its inception in 2001.
Because its stories are based on
research of historic records, some
dating back as early as the 1600s, one
of the biggest design challenges is
working within the limitations of
available artwork to illustrate them.
For that reason, the creative use of
typography is critical to the overall
design.
Over its decade of publication, this
magazine has received numerous
national and local awards, including
this issue which was awarded an
American Graphic Design Award from
Graphic Design:USA magazine.
