The Melodies Center Signage
This project included the design of an
identity to be incorporated into
signage for the newly-named Melodies
Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood
Disorders at the Children’s Hospital at
Albany Medical Center. The elements
of the identity: the curved staff in the
background, the Bass Clef as the
initial stroke of the “M”, the note as
the “d” and the bouncing letters
illustrate the musical nature of the
name. The color palette of the
Children’s Hospital identity was
integrated into the sign and placed on
a yellow background to create a
hopeful atmosphere.
