Founded in 1814, Albany Academy for Girls is the oldest independent girls day school in the U.S. and today is dedicated to educating and preparing girls as the leaders of tomorrow. The Albany Academy, an independent college preparatory day school for boys, was founded over 200 years ago with the purpose of educating and developing the leadership capabilities of young men by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and character needed for success. In 2007, Albany Academy for Girls and The Albany Academy merged to form The Albany Academies.
2k Design began working with Albany Academy for Girls in the late 1990s. In addition to designing materials for their annual speaker's series, we developed the concept and supporting materials for the third and final phase of a multi-year fundraising campaign. Over the last few years we have designed several projects for The Albany Academies including their annual report of giving, reunion brochures, and annual fund brochure.
For over two decades, 2k Design has crafted strategic design solutions based on our clients’ unique needs. Our work includes identity, print, web, packaging, signage, and exhibit design. We believe thoughtful planning, exceptional creativity, and outstanding organization are essential in developing the details of a project in a way that make the most sense, provides the most value, and has the greatest impact.
2k Design is certified as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise by the New York State Office of Economic Development.
