As New York's original capital, the Ulster County Clerk's Office Archives in Kingston holds a multitude of historically significant documents from the 17th century and beyond. To illustrate the types of documents that are held in their collections, the County Clerk's Office asked us to design a "gallery" of images from their holdings. The wide variety of document reproductions were segmented in to categories and then positioned within those groupings at various levels across the wall's surface. The exhibit covers a 40' section of a wall on the second floor of the County Office building.
