The Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area was designated by Congress in 1996 and is one of the federally-recognized National Heritage Areas throughout the United States. Through a partnership with the National Park Service, the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area collaborates with residents, government agencies, non-profit groups and private partners to interpret, preserve and celebrate the nationally-significant cultural and natural resources of the Hudson River Valley to encourage public stewardship for these resources as well as economic activity at the local and regional level.
2k Design partnered with Ruth Sadinsky to design the 128-page Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area Guidebook highlighting the 100 heritage sites within the Heritage Area boundaries. 2k Design also developed interpretive signage, promotional banners, and provided design consulting services for a version of Heritage Area's website that was being developed by another agency.
For over two decades, 2k Design has crafted strategic design solutions based on our clients’ unique needs. Our work includes identity, print, web, packaging, signage, and exhibit design. We believe thoughtful planning, exceptional creativity, and outstanding organization are essential in developing the details of a project in a way that make the most sense, provides the most value, and has the greatest impact.
