The Arch is a prestigious giving society that honors donors who have cumulatively contributed one million dollars or more to Union College. The iconic arched windows of the College's campus provided the inspiration for the visual icon which was combined with elegant typography and graphic flourshes to create a mark that appropriately represents this group.
In addition to the identity, we designed a brochure that welcomed members into this prestigious group. Since the iconic arched windows provided the inspiration for the identity, we used a large photographic representation as the centerpiece of this brochure. We reinforced the arch concept with debossed arches on the covers, a flysheet with photographs that also prominently illustrate arches, and tinted backgrounds, which imitate the arched stucco exteriors seen across campus.
The brochure we designed for The Arch was recognized with an American Graphic Design Award from GraphicDesign:USA magazine.
