SARATOGA NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK SIGNS

Located on the walking trails in the Saratoga National Historical Park in Stillwater, NY, these permanent signs introduce visitors to the Champlain Canal, its historical significance, and surviving features. The historical maps are marked to show the current day location of the signs. One sign contains information about the Champlain Canal and its relationship to the settlement of the Village of Schuylerville. The second sign explains the importance of the canal as a trade route. The panel designs follow the National Park Service design guidelines.
