Established by Congress in 2000, the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor spans more than 500 miles across the full expanse of upstate New York. In addition to the Erie, Cayuga-Seneca, Oswego, and Champlain canals, the Corridor encompasses 4,834 square miles in 23 counties and is home to 2.7 million people and host to hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. In partnership with the National Park Service and numerous local, state, and federal partners, the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor works to preserve and share the extraordinary heritage of the New York State Canal System, promote the Corridor as a world-class tourism destination, and foster vibrant communities connected by the waterway.
For nearly a decade and a half, 2k Design has helped the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor reach new audiences through the design of a series of coordinated communications that tell its stories, show its beauty, and promote the sites and activities along the Canal. Not only do these materials illustrate the Corridor's importance to our nation’s heritage, they have helped the Corridor in its mission to establish the Erie Canalway as a preeminent tourism destination.
For over two decades, 2k Design has crafted strategic design solutions based on our clients’ unique needs. Our work includes identity, print, web, packaging, signage, and exhibit design. We believe thoughtful planning, exceptional creativity, and outstanding organization are essential in developing the details of a project in a way that make the most sense, provides the most value, and has the greatest impact.
